Children

Your children and where they will spend their time following your separation is almost certain to be your first priority and biggest concern on your separation.

You will need to consider practical issues such as telling them about your separation and supporting them through that while resolving the longer term issues arising in relation to their care.

Many parents are able to agree the arrangements for their children without the involvement of the courts, but others do require the courts and other professionals assistance to determine the care, educational and other arrangements.
